MMGA Master Gardeners strive to have a positive impact on the communities where we work and live. Here are some facts and figures that highlight our impact:
Outreach: Since 2008, members have volunteered more than 10,300 hours at gardening expos, fairs, farmers markets, plant sales, school gardens and other children's activities to share our love and knowledge of horticulture.
Gardening: Since 2008, members have volunteered more than 154,100 hours gardening at affiliated sites throughout the state to beautify and maintain plantings and to address food justice in underserved communities. These include arboretums, botanical gardens, food pantry gardens, historical gardens, wildlife gardens, native gardens, and public/community gardens.
